Moon Valley Residents Enjoy Nearby Reach 11 Recreational Area in Phoenix AZ

This 1500 acre natural desert park is on the north side of the Central Arizona Project canal. With 18 miles of multi-use trails bicyclists, equestrians, hikers, joggers and runners enjoy this park. The trails are open from sunrise to sunset. As the area is so large, there is a huge variety of wildlife that nature lovers will get to observe, quail, mourning dove, cottontail, coyote and if you are lucky javelina. With-in the area you’ll find Arizona Horse Lovers Park, which besides a staging area for unloading your horse also has four arenas, cattle pens, water troughs and more.
