Paradise Valley is an expansive area, surrounded by the Phoenix Mountains, Cave Creek and Carefree and the McDowell Mountains.  However, the town of Paradise Valley has a relatively small area.  There are many places that bear the Paradise Valley name, such as Paradise Valley High School, Paradise Valley Community College, Paradise Valley Hospital, Paradise Valley Golf Course, and Paradise Valley Mall, but they are all actually in Phoenix.  However, all of these places are a relatively short driving distance from the town of Paradise Valley.
