Chandler Chihuahua Races Commemorate Hispanic Heritage
Chandler features many festivals and attractions of interest, but one in particular causes residents and tourists to cheer every year. The Chihuahua Races are held annually to recognize the contribution of the Hispanic members of the community and to celebrate Cinco de Mayo. The King and Queen of the event are crowned during the Coronation of the Chihuahua to the delight of many onlookers. Besides some quirky methods of hailing the ancestry of the southwest, the city of Chandler is a wonderful place to raise the family. The summers do tend to get a bit warm though. That’s why Chandler pool communities are so popular. It’s nice to have all of the advantages of a pool without the maintenance and expense that is involved with owning you own private pool. Experience American originality mixed with cultural flavor that is truly south of the border in this Phoenix area town.
